Annotatsiya

This article examines the degradation processes of materials comprising historical and cultural heritage objects, as well as the scientific and methodological foundations of their conservation. The study analyzes the mechanisms of deterioration of historical materials under the influence of physical, chemical, and biological factors, and reviews modern diagnostic methods used to identify and assess degradation processes. In addition, conservation principles, traditional and innovative methods, and effective approaches for preserving historical materials in accordance with international standards are discussed. The article also emphasizes the importance of developing conservation strategies based on the analysis of practical experience and scientific research.
