Objective. To study clinical features and determine the significance of risk factors in the development of atopic bronchial asthma combined with ARS in children. Materials and methods: A study was conducted of 100 children aged 7-14 years suffering from atopic bronchial asthma, combined and not combined with ARS. Thirty practically healthy children served as a control. Methods - clinical, allergological, functional, laboratory, immunological and statistical. Results: The following features of the clinical course of atopic bronchial asthma combined with ARS were established: predominance of cases with a more severe clinical course, severe weather instability, impaired psychological state, hyperreactivity of bronchial receptors to histamine and acetylcholine, impaired respiratory function, rhinometry parameters, neutrophil phagocytic activity. The significance of risk factors (predisposing and contributing) to the development of bronchial asthma in children has been determined.
