LINGUISTIC FEATURES OF YOUTH SPEECH IN THE KARAKALPAK LANGUAGE

Annotatsiya

This article examines the linguistic features of youth speech in the Karakalpak language and analyzes its role in contemporary language development. Particular attention is paid to lexical innovation, slang formation, semantic changes, code-switching, lexical borrowing, and the influence of digital communication on youth discourse. The study demonstrates that youth speech reflects ongoing social, cultural, and technological transformations and serves as an important source of linguistic innovation. Furthermore, the article highlights the significance of youth language as a marker of social identity and cultural affiliation. The findings indicate that youth speech contributes to the enrichment and modernization of the Karakalpak language while simultaneously reflecting broader processes of globalization and intercultural communication.
