This article analyzes, with examples, the reflection of the "Homeland" concept in the works of the Karakalpak national poet I. Yusupov, primarily in his lyrics. Information is provided on their place in linguoculturology and their system of cognitive signs. The poet's feelings for his native land, full of love and born in the depths of his heart, are analyzed metaphorically.
