Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the history of the study of cultural heritage sites in the Kashkadarya region in chronological order. The research is divided into three main stages, covering scientific investigations from the end of the 19th century to the present day. The article highlights the issues of waqf property during the Bukhara Emirate, the activities of archaeological expeditions during the Soviet period, particularly the Kesh Archaeological Topographic Expedition (KATE), and new methodological approaches during the years of independence. The current status of cultural heritage sites in the region and legal measures are also presented based on statistical data.
