Students' varying levels of comprehension, prior information, learning styles, cognitive abilities, difficulties with pronunciation, vocabulary, and general difficulties with language acquisition could all pose potential issues. In this paper I will examine how English is taught in schools to pupils from various cultural backgrounds.
