This article studies the place of the gender problem in state policy and the state system. Based on the analysis of international and national literature, the place of the problem of gender equality in political and ideological regulation is revealed. It is considered that ensuring gender equality is a priority direction of the policy not only of Uzbekistan, but also of countries around the world
