METHODS OF FORMING CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS IN HISTORY LESSONS

Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the methods of developing critical thinking skills in history lessons. Critical thinking is an important skill aimed at enhancing students’ ability to deeply understand, analyze, evaluate information, and make independent decisions. The article examines effective methods such as the question-and-answer technique, working with historical sources, debates, role-playing, conceptual maps, and project-based activities. Additionally, the role of the teacher and the opportunities to improve the quality of the educational process through modern technologies are discussed. These methods contribute to fostering independent thinking, analytical approaches, and social activity among students.
