This article discusses the process of adapting widely used terms within the methodology of teaching English to national variants in the Uzbek language. The main emphasis is on the formation of a suitable terminological environment in accordance with the national education system and cultural environment. The article also considers problems arising in translation, criteria for selecting equivalents of terms, and localization strategies.
