Mitral valve surgery is a complex procedure often performed to correct various cardiac conditions. This article provides an overview of the postoperative state following mitral valve surgery, focusing on the immediate recovery period, potential complications, and long-term outcomes. Following the IMRAD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion), the aim of this article is to elucidate critical aspects of postoperative care and management in patients undergoing mitral valve surgery.
