Annotatsiya

Ultrasound (US) is an excellent cost-effective method for imaging peripheral nerves. Using new high-frequency transducers with different coverage areas that provide high-resolution images in a relatively superficial location, ultrasound can detect and evaluate traumatic, inflammatory, infectious, neoplastic, and compressive pathologies of peripheral nerves. This article describes a technique for assessing peripheral nerves using ultrasound in normal conditions and in certain pathologies.
