This article examines the criminal legal aspects of extremism, where fundamentalist movements, disguising themselves with religious slogans while seeking political power, attempt to negatively influence the socio-political situation in Central Asian countries, particularly in Uzbekistan. It also highlights significant aspects of national legislation addressing this issue.
