This article discusses the use of cryptocurrencies as modern financial technologies in money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as the control measures being implemented at the international and national levels against this threat. The issues of managing illicit financial flows through cryptoassets are analyzed based on the recommendations developed by the FATF and other organizations.
