The article highlights the importance of financial reporting transformation in attracting investments to joint-stock companies. The work defines the tasks that need to be addressed today in joint-stock companies. The advantages of transforming existing financial statements in joint-stock companies into international standards are presented. The article develops proposals for accelerating the transition of joint-stock companies to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
