TYPES OF PUNISHMENTS RELATED TO FORCED LABOR OF PERSONS WHO HAVE COMMITTED CRIMES IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN AND THEIR SPECIFIC FEATURES

Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the types of punishments and their specific features related to forced labor of persons who have committed crimes in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was concluded that it is expedient to include 2 of the 9 types of basic punishments provided for in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, i.e. compulsory community service and correctional work in the list of punishments related to forced labor. Attention was paid to the aspects of these punishments related to forced labor, and the features that distinguish them from other types of punishments were determined. In particular, special emphasis was placed on the similarities and differences of punishments related to forced labor with punishments such as fines and deprivation of liberty. Based on the author's conclusions and recommendations on each issue discussed in the article.
