Annotatsiya

This article discusses the application of international human rights legal norms in the national judicial system, their legal force, direct application and problematic aspects in practice. The impact of international legal instruments, including the UN, the European Court of Human Rights and other regional mechanisms on the courts is analyzed. The level of application of international norms in the legislation and judicial practice of Uzbekistan is also assessed. The author indicates the obstacles to the implementation of international norms by the courts and makes recommendations for their elimination.
