The article examines the pathways for developing privatization and reducing state participation in the economy of Uzbekistan, formulated as part of implementing the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № PD-162 dated April 19, 2024, “On Additional Measures to Reduce State Participation in the Economy”. The proposed approaches for developing privatization and reducing state involvement in Uzbekistan's economy contribute to the formation of a competitive market environment, increasing the efficiency of asset utilization, attracting private investment, and stimulating entrepreneurial initiative. Moreover, these measures are aimed at reducing the burden on the state budget, improving enterprise management, and enhancing their transparency, which, in turn, creates conditions for sustainable economic growth and Uzbekistan's integration into global economic processes.
