This article analyses the relationship between climate change and international human rights law from an international legal perspective. The study examines the impact of climate change on fundamental rights, including the rights to life, health, food, water and culture, and describes the legal obligations of states under existing international treaties. Using legal analysis, comparative and systematic methods, key international instruments have been examined as primary sources, including the 1966 International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), and the 2015 Paris Agreement.
