This article explores the pedagogical foundations of teaching information technology in primary education, considering the psychological and developmental characteristics of young learners. It highlights the role of IT in developing learning motivation and cognitive activity. Special focus is given to pedagogical principles, methods, and the organization of lessons in accordance with national educational standards. Practical aspects of digital learning are analyzed, along with recommendations for primary school teachers.
