Paradoxical movement of the vocal folds is a disorder of their coordination, which can lead to various voice and breathing disorders. This condition is often observed in women and can be associated with psychosocial factors, hormonal changes, or anatomical features. This paper discusses the features of differential diagnosis of paradoxical movement of the vocal folds, including visualization and functional examination methods, as well as the main clinical manifestations. Particular attention is paid to treatment approaches, including voice therapy, drug intervention, and psychotherapy. The importance of early diagnosis and an individual approach to the choice of treatment methods is emphasized to prevent complications and improve patients' quality of life.
