Annotatsiya

Acute obstructive diseases of the upper respiratory tract (URT) in children are a group of inflammatory conditions accompanied by partial or complete obstruction of the airways at the level of the larynx and trachea. The most common among them are stenosing laryngotracheitis (false croup), epiglottitis, and bacterial tracheitis. These conditions require special attention as they can lead to severe respiratory failure and pose a life-threatening risk to the child.
