Anatomy plays a key role in medicine, providing an understanding of anatomical structures and contributing to improved diagnostic and surgical outcomes. This article discusses the importance of anatomical knowledge for surgical planning, disease diagnosis, and developing new therapeutic approaches. Attention is given to modern methods of imaging and individualization of surgical techniques, as well as the impact of anatomy on rehabilitation and research. An understanding of anatomy is the foundation for achieving high standards of medical care.
