APPLICATION OF THE THIN LAYER CHROMATOGRAPHY METHOD IN THE ANALYSIS OF OLANZAPINE

Annotatsiya

A method for chromatographic determination of olanzapine in a thin layer of a stationary phase using mobile phases consisting of mixtures of various organic solvents was studied. The most stable systems were those containing ethyl alcohol-chloroform-benzene (1:1:4) Rf=0.67 and chloroform-hexane-acetone-25% NH4OH (50:10:10:1) Rf=0.62. A modified Dragendorff reagent (sensitivity 0.25 μg) according to Mounier was used to detect olanzapine spots on the chromatogram. The developed method is recommended for the identification of olanzapine in dosage forms and biological objects.
