This scientific article is devoted to the analysis and improvement of the sley mechanism of STB weaving looms used at the “NT HOLDING HOME TEXTILE” enterprise. Existing problems in modern sley mechanisms, such as high vibration levels, rapid wear, and limited operating speed, negatively affect production efficiency and product quality. The aim of the study is to identify the weaknesses of the existing mechanism and develop new optimized design solutions to eliminate them. The operating conditions of the mechanism were investigated through kinematic and dynamic analyses, as well as the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method. Tests of the improved sley mechanism demonstrated a 28% reduction in vibration levels, a 15% increase in weaving speed, and a 60% extension of spare parts service life.
