Annotatsiya

This article examines the transformative potential of media technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in improving English language proficiency among the population of Uzbekistan to meet international standards. In an increasingly globalized world, English proficiency has become a critical factor for educational advancement, professional development, and international communication. Despite ongoing educational reforms, significant challenges remain in achieving widespread English language competence across diverse social groups. The article explores how digital media platforms, online educational resources, AI-powered language learning applications, intelligent tutoring systems, and generative AI tools can enhance language acquisition beyond traditional classroom settings. Particular attention is given to personalized learning, accessibility, learner motivation, and continuous language exposure through modern technologies. Furthermore, the study discusses challenges associated with technological infrastructure, digital literacy, and ethical considerations. The paper argues that the strategic integration of media and AI can accelerate the development of English language literacy nationwide and contribute significantly to Uzbekistan’s educational modernization goals and global competitiveness.
