Annotatsiya

The article examines reception theory and its significance for translation studies. Particular attention is paid to such key concepts as the “horizon of expectations,” reader interpretation, and cultural context in the translation process. It is noted that the application of reception theory allows translation to be viewed not only as a linguistic transfer but also as a cultural and interpretative process in which the meaning of the text is formed through interaction with the audience.
