DETERMINATION OF AFLATOXINS IN DOMESTIC ACHILLEA FILIPENDULINA MATERIALS

The safety assessment аchillea filipendulina flowers, a new anti - ulcer, diuretic and hemostatic medicinal product, was carried out based on the content of biological contaminants – aflatoxins. High-performance liquid chromatography with massspectrometric detection aflatoxins В1, В2, G1 and G2 revealed only one aflatoxins out of four known aflatoxins B1. It was found that its content in аchillea filipendulina flowers is 0.00042 ± 0.00001 mcg/kg, which fully meets the requirements (no more than 0.005 mcg/kg) and indicates the safety of the studied raw materials.
