QUALITY OF DRINKING WATER CENTRALIZED WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS OF KASHKADARYA REGION

Annotatsiya
The article is devoted to the hygienic assessment of the quality of drinking water in centralized water supply systems for the population of Kashkadarya region. According to microbiological and organoleptic indicators, drinking water in the studied areas does not meet the requirements of the hygienic standard, with the exception of Yakkabag, Kitab and Shakhrisabz districts, which use groundwater for water supply. The indicators of total mineralization, chlorides, sulfates and total hardness of drinking water do not exceed the standard values. The results of the questionnaire survey revealed that the main complaints of the population are related to interruptions in the supply of tap water and the presence of odor and taste in drinking water.
