This article explores the tragedy "Tamerlane the Great" by Christopher Marlowe asa manifestation of the Renaissance humanist worldview. By examining the play's themes,characters, and cultural context, this study delves into the interplay between humanist idealsand the dramatic portrayal of power, ambition, and morality. Through an analysis of thetragedy's depiction of Tamerlane and the moral dilemmas faced by the characters, this articlehighlights how "Tamerlane the Great" reflects the complex and nuanced worldview ofRenaissance humanism.
