Annotatsiya

Phototherapy plays a crucial role in the treatment of chronic dermatoses such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and vitiligo. This article examines the main mechanisms of action of various phototherapy methods, including narrowband medium-wave ultraviolet therapy (UVB-311 nm), PUVA therapy, and long-wave ultraviolet therapy (UVA-1). Clinical studies confirming the effectiveness of these methods, as well as their application in Russian and international practice, are discussed. Special attention is given to modern approaches and prospects for the use of phototherapy in dermatology.
