This article analyzes the relationship between a leader’s volitional sphere and the effectiveness of managerial activity. The importance of a leader’s volitional qualities, including determination, independence, responsibility, patience, and self-control, in the management process is highlighted. In addition, the role of volitional qualities in decision-making, team management, and achieving organizational goals is revealed.
