ENVIRONMENTAL DANGER OF CHEMICAL WASTE AND WAYS OF ITS NEUTRALIZATION

This article provides a detailed analysis of the classification of chemical waste, their primary sources, the negative impact on the environment, and methods of neutralization. The role of chemical waste in polluting water, air, and soil, as well as its harmful effects on human health and biodiversity, is examined from a scientific and theoretical perspective. The article presents modern and effective methods of neutralization — thermal incineration, chemical neutralization, biological decomposition, physico-chemical treatment, and recycling. It also emphasizes the importance of technological approaches alongside legal regulation, public environmental awareness, and educational outreach in ensuring ecological safety.
