Helminth diseases remain one of the most common problems in children's healthcare, especially in countries with insufficient sanitation levels. This article is dedicated to the analysis of the effects of helminthiases on children's physical and mental development, as well as their social adaptation. In addition, the consequences of these diseases for the child's psycho-emotional state and quality of life are considered. Based on the analysis of modern research, recommendations for the prevention and correction of disorders caused by parasitic infections are presented.
