Annotatsiya
Myasthenia is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by impaired transmission of nerve impulses to striated muscles. This condition typically presents with pronounced muscle fatigue and weakness, especially during physical exertion. Despite the availability of well-established pharmacological treatment strategies, including immunosuppressive therapy and symptomatic medications, there remains a need for additional non-pharmacological methods that can enhance the effectiveness of rehabilitation and improve patients’ quality of life. In this context, photobiomodulation (PBM) has attracted growing scientific and clinical interest. PBM is an innovative physiotherapeutic approach based on the use of low-intensity laser or LED irradiation within a specific spectral range.
