Annotatsiya

This article presents muskrat (Ondatra Zibethica), which is considered a mesophilic species in the Southern Aral Sea region. Currently, when water scarcity is observed in Central Asian countries, Ondatra Zibethica, which is considered one of the mesophilic species of small mammals, has been introduced in the conditions of Uzbekistan. Since the ondatra is a mesophilic species, it is considered the primary indicator species of the aquatic environment. By studying this species, it is possible to predict the state of the Amu Darya's hydrological regime.
