Annotatsiya

Sleeve gastrectomy is widely used in the surgical treatment of morbid obesity due to its high efficacy; however, postoperative complications remain a significant concern. The aim of this study is to analyze the incidence, structure, and risk factors of complications in this patient population. Early complications include bleeding, incision failure, infection, and thromboembolic events, while late complications include gastroesophageal reflux disease, stenosis, and weight relapse. The incidence and severity of complications depend on the surgical technique and comorbid conditions, and the Clavien-Dindo classification is used for standardized assessment.
