Annotatsiya

This study examined the anti-inflammatory and antitussive activity of a liquid polyextract based on licorice roots in combination with medicinal plant materials. The polyextract was found to have a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect in a histamine-induced paw edema model in rats and a significant antitussive effect in a citric acid-induced cough model in guinea pigs. These results demonstrate the potential of this combined polyextract for the development of herbal remedies for inflammatory respiratory diseases associated with cough.
