CARCINOGENS AND THEIR ROLE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MALIGNANT NEOPLASMS IN HUMANS

Annotatsiya

Malignant neoplasms remain one of the leading medical and social problems of modern medicine due to their high prevalence and mortality rates among the population. This article examines the role of carcinogens in the development of oncological diseases in humans. An analysis of the main carcinogenic factors, including chemical carcinogens, physical carcinogens, and biological carcinogens contributing to the development of cancer, was conducted. The mechanisms of carcinogenesis associated with DNA damage, disruption of apoptosis, the cell cycle, and the repair of genetic material were also studied.
