This article discusses the use of medicinal dandelion (field dandelion) for the treatment of humans and animals, the prevention of diseases, as well as in the food, perfumery and cosmetic industries. It presents the results of a study on the origin, geographical distribution and bioecology of the medicinal dandelion or field dandelion species.
