Annotatsiya

Pyelonephritis is one of the most common infectious and inflammatory diseases during pregnancy and remains a major cause of maternal and perinatal complications. This literature review analyzes current national and international publications on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of pyelonephritis in pregnant women. Current clinical guidelines, etiological factors, risk factors, diagnostic approaches, and principles of rational antibacterial therapy are discussed. Timely diagnosis, screening and treatment of asymptomatic bacteriuria, and a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach to the management of pregnant women have been shown to reduce the risk of severe maternal and perinatal complications and improve pregnancy outcomes.
