Annotatsiya

This article discusses some issues of teaching phonetics in a non-linguisticuniversity. Some methods of teaching foreign language pronunciation are described. Anoriginal non-traditional approach to explaining the articulation of English sounds based on acomparison of the articulation of English and Russian sounds is considered. The article can beused by both English teachers and those who study English on their own.
