This article explores the peculiarities of polysemous verbs in English and Uzbeklanguages, focusing on their semantic features, problems encountered in translation, andmethods of translating them. Section 1 examines the semantic features of polysemous verbs inboth languages and highlights the similarities and differences between them. Section 2discusses the main problems encountered in translating polysemous verbs and providesexamples to illustrate these challenges.
