Annotatsiya

Post-harvest losses remain one of the most pressing challenges in global agriculture, particularly in developing countries where infrastructure and technology are often insufficient. Sustainable storage technologies play a crucial role in preserving agricultural products, maintaining nutritional value, and minimizing economic losses. This article examines the role of innovative, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly storage technologies in reducing post-harvest losses. It discusses traditional and modern storage methods, the integration of renewable energy systems, digital monitoring tools, and government strategies aimed at promoting sustainability. The paper concludes that adopting sustainable storage technologies not only improves food security but also strengthens rural economies and contributes to achieving several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
