Annotatsiya

This article explores the poetics of space in the works of Edgar Allan Poe and explains how physical settings and enclosed spaces influence the atmosphere, emotions, and psychological condition of characters. The study shows that Poe uses dark rooms, old houses, underground spaces, and isolated environments not only as background elements, but also as symbolic and artistic tools that strengthen fear, tension, and mystery.
