This article analyzes the economic importance of the development of small business and private entrepreneurship, its place in the country's economy and its role in ensuring employment. It also covers the issues of supporting entrepreneurial activity, improving the investment climate and introducing innovative approaches. The priority areas of ensuring economic stability and forming a competitive economy through the development of small businesses are considered.
