This article analyzes the artistic, psychological and philosophical characteristics of the novel “Hunger ”. The work deeply describes the human psyche, poverty, loneliness and the impact of hunger on the human mind. During the research, the inner experiences of the novel’s hero, the author’s modernist style and the social significance of the work were studied. The results showed that the novel “Hunger” is one of the most important works of world literature in illuminating human psychology
