Breast cancer occupies a leading position in the structure of oncological morbidity among women worldwide. Mastectomy, as a radical method of surgical treatment, is often accompanied by significant physical and psychological consequences, which determines the relevance of reconstructive interventions. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of modern breast reconstruction methods after mastectomy and to analyze their impact on patients’ quality of life. A retrospective study included 120 patients who underwent mastectomy during the period from 2021 to 2025. The main reconstruction methods were analyzed: implant-based, autologous, and combined reconstruction. It was established that the choice of reconstruction method significantly affects functional and aesthetic outcomes, as well as patients’ quality of life. Immediate reconstruction using silicone implants and autologous tissues provides the best long-term outcomes with appropriate patient selection. The improvement of reconstructive technologies in oncoplastic surgery contributes to reducing psychological trauma and improving the social rehabilitation of women who have undergone breast cancer treatment.
