Annotatsiya

Rabies remains one of the most dangerous viral infections with an almost 100% fatality rate after the onset of clinical symptoms. In recent years, modern morphological research methods, including immunohistochemistry, electron microscopy, molecular genetic techniques, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and tissue morphometry, have gained particular importance. These methods make it possible to detect early pathological changes in nervous tissue, determine the specific features of rabies virus pathogenesis, and improve preventive measures.
