CLINICAL AND FUNCTIONAL FACTORS OF ACUTE ISCHEMIC STROKE DEVELOPMENT IN ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION

Annotatsiya

Acute myocardial infarction and acute ischemic stroke remain leading causes of mortality and disability worldwide. The development of ischemic stroke during acute myocardial infarction significantly worsens the prognosis and increases the risk of severe complications. This study investigated the clinical and functional factors associated with the development of acute ischemic stroke in patients with acute myocardial infarction. Central hemodynamic parameters, cardiac rhythm disturbances, myocardial contractile function, concomitant diseases, and metabolic disorders were analyzed. The study identified arterial hypertension, atrial fibrillation, chronic heart failure, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, and reduced left ventricular ejection fraction as the major risk factors. The combination of cardiac and vascular disorders contributes to thromboembolic complications and early ischemic stroke after myocardial infarction. Early identification of risk factors, timely cardiological and neurological monitoring, and a comprehensive treatment approach can improve therapeutic outcomes and patient prognosis.
