Fixed prosthodontic treatment is one of the most widely used methods for restoring dental arch defects and providing functional rehabilitation for patients. The aim of the study was to assess the anatomical and functional condition of the oral cavity in individuals who have been using fixed dental prostheses for a long period and to identify the main risk factors for the development of complications. A comprehensive examination was conducted on 120 patients who had been using fixed prosthetic restorations for more than five years. The study results demonstrated a significant relationship between the duration of prosthesis use and deterioration in oral hygiene indicators, periodontal tissue condition, and the functional activity of the masticatory system.
